On Thursday, April 25th, 2024, GCON, Inc. was recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies among those owned and led by Arizona State University (ASU) alumni. Awarded the Sun Devil 100 for increasing gross sales and revenues, cofounders Mike Godbehere and Gabe Gavriilidis, attended the ceremony hosted by their alma mater to receive the award. GCON was ranked 6th and is considered one of the fastest-growing companies run and operated by ASU Alumni.
The ASU Alumni Association selects companies from around the world to receive the Sun Devil 100 each year. The award is only given to companies that demonstrate innovation, growth and an entrepreneurial spirit. In addition, companies must operate in a way that enables them to leave a positive impact on public good and assume responsibility for the economic, social, cultural and overall health of the communities it serves.
Mike Godbehere graduated from ASU in 1994 and Gabe Gavriilidis graduated in 1996. Both earned a Bachelor of Science in construction. As part of the Sun Devil 100 class of 2024, they join a diverse group of talented business leaders who exemplify the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of ASU.
