May 11, 2026 – Last Friday, GCON Gives hosted its Annual Golf Tournament at Papago Golf Club, bringing together industry partners, sponsors, and supporters for a day on the course dedicated to giving back. This year’s sold-out tournament raised an incredible $55,000 for Billy’s Place, a West Valley nonprofit that provides grief support for children and families across Arizona.
Supporting a Cause Close to Home
Each year, GCON Gives selects a local Arizona beneficiary whose mission and action directly impact the Valley’s communities. This year’s tournament was dedicated to Billy’s Place. Based in Glendale, Billy’s Place offers peer grief support groups, school-based bereavement programs, and community resources to help kids and families navigate loss without judgment. The funds raised will go directly toward expanding these programs and ensuring more Arizona families have access to compassionate, judgment-free support when they need it most.
Thank You to Our Sponsors
None of this would be possible without the generosity of GCON Gives’ sponsors. Their partnership, commitment, and willingness to show up make it possible to raise these kinds of funds and support nonprofits like Billy’ Place that are changing lives.
A special thank you to our Title Sponsor, Rosendin, whose partnership helped make this year’s tournament our most impactful yet, and to our Premier Sponsor, Amfab Steel Inc., whose commitment to the community extends well beyond the jobsite. GCON Gives is incredibly grateful for every sponsor who stands alongside this mission and helps transform generosity into lasting impact.
A Legacy of Giving Back
Since becoming an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2021, GCON Gives has raised and donated more than $6200,000 back into Arizona communities. One hundred percent of proceeds are reinvested locally through grants and scholarships, reflecting GCON’s commitment to building safer, stronger communities for the people who live and work here.
The golf tournament is one of two signature GCON Gives events each year. The second event is the Fall Poker Run that takes place in October. Together, these events represent the collective drive of GCON employees to give back grassroots-style, one event at a time.
We’re proud of what this community accomplished together, and we’ll see everyone back on the greens next year.
