Scottsdale’s Hartley General Store is a Landmark Historic Building located at the City’s McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. GCON was trusted with performing interior renovations throughout the building. The project required extensive demolition of existing casework, wood flooring and kitchen equipment. All to be replaced with new updated and modernized millwork with T&G front to match T&G walls, luxury vinyl tile flooring, new more efficient kitchen equipment to meet current health department codes and modern paint colors throughout. The project goal was to update the store while keeping the overall historic look. Work was scheduled to be completed during the park’s slow season of July and August which led to a tight construction schedule which GCON achieved.
