MIKE GODBEHERE

Mike has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. His interest in construction started at an early age working alongside his father who was a union plumber. He spent many years with him in the field and was drawn to the challenge of construction and the satisfaction of seeing the fruits of your labor each day. A third generation Arizona native, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University. Prior to GCON, he served in various management positions for Intel Corporation including Project Manager where he was in charge of projects in excess of $500 million. His last position with Intel was as Americas Sourcing Manager, where he was responsible for all US and South America based construction contracts.

With nearly a decade of invaluable experience and significant accomplishments at Intel, Mike was motivated to create his own legacy in construction and with long-time friend and industry colleague, Gabe Gavriliidis, the pair co-founded GCON, Inc. and began providing construction services in the Valley in 2002.

As the GCON visionary, Mike leads his team to be a true client advocate and partner. His philosophy of project success begins with clearly mapping out a path to build each project in an efficient and timely manner while exceeding client expectations. The success of this vision and philosophy has led to one of Mike’s biggest accomplishments – maintaining GCON’s reputation and profitability over the last 20+ years. Today, the firm is one of the West Valley’s fastest growing contractors due to its reputation for superior customer service and efficient project delivery. In addition, GCON is consistently ranked as one of the fastest growing companies by the Phoenix Business Journal. Mike attributes the amazing success and continued growth to the commitment and dedication of his team that exhibits his vision and mission every day.
