GCON completed the expansion of an existing data center from a 4MW to a 10MW total with backup generators. This expansion included the installation of two (2) Medium volt primary electrical services with downstream electrical equipment to include two (2) 1.6MW UPS systems, twelve (12) distribution PDU units, and two (2) 2.5MW generators for backup emergency power. We also completed the installation of twelve (12) DSE CRAC units with outside condenser units in an existing operation equipment yard. This project was challenging due to having to work around all the existing underground site utilities in the yard and due to space constraints in the equipment yard.

This project turned an existing 10,000 SQ FT storage space into a white space with a raised metal floor for future colocation and combined it with an existing 20,000 SQ FT white space.
