The Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) maintains a Downtown Mesa Campus of Mesa Community College. This facility houses MCC’s Information Technology Certification Training programs. Additionally, the facility is occupied by several 3rd party tenants who lease spaces that are not part of the college, including Mesa Chamber of Commerce and Mesa Veterans Resource Center. The facility needed major HVAC system upgrades to modernize an outdated system, add efficiency, and provide outside air ventilation requirements to meet new codes and MCCCD standards. These upgrades required major electrical system upgrades, structural system improvements, and reroofing of the entire facility while managing the occupancy of all of the tenants and MCCCD.
