GCON completed the renovation of the Pre-K to 8^th grade school for Pendergast Elementary School District, which included updates in the administration area, computer/science lab, cafeteria, and 45 separate classrooms. The project was completed on an active campus housing more than 750 students, requiring phased relocation of classrooms, staff, and students without an impact on learning. This project presented some unforeseen obstacles due to the presence of mold that required remediation and abatement during each phase. Due to the tight schedule, this added step had to be incorporated without adjusting the date of completion. The project was completed on time.
