GCON Inc. recently announced Lisa Murphy as the new Chief Financial Officer. Murphy will oversee all financial strategies and operations for the company.

“Lisa has earned this C-Suite position. We are excited to have her leadership at the forefront of GCON,” said Mike Godbehere, CEO. “Her contributions have prepared us for the next chapter of growth, strengthening our position as a super-regional contractor.”

Murphy joined GCON in 2019, taking on the unique role of Vice President of both Accounting and Human Resources. Responsible for both the financial and personnel wellbeing of the company, Lisa’s executive, dual position included monitoring GCON’s fiscal health and growing the company from 65 employees to a regional and national contender with a 200+ full-time workforce. Though her focus as CFO will primarily on the financial side of the company, Lisa continues to preserve the close, caring company culture of GCON that she helped build.

As one of the top financial leaders in Arizona’s construction industry, the significance of Murphy’s role as CFO is felt throughout the company. She has been instrumental in GCON’s trajectory, providing skillful guidance and strategic counsel along the way.

Murphy has an accounting degree from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Arizona State University. She is a certified public accountant (CPA) with a long career in finance, including vice president of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and chief operating officer for Taliesin West.
